Today, I'm writing one of the most important business
oriented articles that I've written in years, perhaps in more than a
decade.
The reason I was so successful from 1995 to 2007 doing Lazy Man's
Automated Riches marketing (doing 7 figures with a staff of 4 total people
from 1995 to 1999 and 6 figures as a 1-person automated marketing
machine from 1999 to 2007) was because it had been a
non-automated non-online "belly to belly" marketing world up until
the commercial arrival of the Internet in the 1990s. And then
I became one of the first people to do something that almost
all others at first believed and said just couldn't be done.
Actually sell lotsa things online to people I had never met face to
face (nor in any other way either) via 100% online automated
marketing methods. And even recruit them 100% online into home-based
business opportunities. All over the world.
In the tens of
thousands...
But even as late as 2001, I still recall that the vast
majority of people still said that this kind of "online magic"
simply couldn't be done, despite the fact that I and a few
others had already been doing it with great global success for
several years already. It was like blind people trying to
convince folks with 20/20 vision that there was no such thing as
sight! Well, long story short, the early visionary movers and
shakers like myself eventually convinced most of the myopic laggards
that, not only could it be done, we were already doing it. And so
could they...
And so they did. Or at least many of them did...and that's the
problem that I'm addressing today.

Too Many Converts with Too Many Damn Robots!
Too many converts with too many damn Robots! There are now way too many people all attempting to do
Lazy Man's Automated Riches marketing online for it to be effective for any one
but a very select few doing astronomical numbers. And they
are anything but the proverbial "average" person...
Who are these select few? And what sets them apart?
Again, the answer is very simple. It's the guys and gals with the
employed and/or
the contracted out sizable staff that I used to have from 1995 to 1999. The
now drop dead serious business of "Lazy Man's"
online automation (that was so much easier to do back in the
1990s) is anything BUT lazy in
the year 2008!
You have to work your friggin' arse off with a fairly sizable staff
these days to get what used to be a relatively simple (but now is an
extraordinarily complex) job done.
A job
requiring an extraordinarily diverse and advanced set of skills
necessarily spread out over a fairly large staff of people with
different areas of requisite specialization and expertise. Why? Because of the enormous cut-throat competition out there
bubbling up like a volcano ready to blow sky high from literally millions of
competing people all
interconnected on the Internet from all over this big frickin'
planet!
Too many converts with too many damn Robots.
But Don't Take My Word For It!
But don't take my word for it. After all, you're probably
thinking by now that I'm just another washed up Internet "has been"
(by the way, I've been written off more times than I care to count
since I first began marketing online in 1992 and yet, like the
Energizer Bunny, I just keep going and going and going...reinventing
myself along the way and always seeming to find the path of least
resistance, least amount of business time invested and highest ROI
for business time invested, which are always the goals/objectives
that I keep first and foremost in mind).
Instead, listen to Dan
Lok, one of the best known automated online marketers in the
world today. The following is an excerpt from page 41 of his 41-page
eBook "The Death of Information Marketing (As We Know It)." To wit
(in blue text below with Dan's own emphasis unchanged):
The Myth of the Auto-Pilot 7-Figure Income.
Yes, you can enjoy a nice
six-figure income with little or no staff, an evergreen product, a
great offer, continuously running ads and websites, and little or no
customer contact.
If six figures is all you
want, that's perfectly fine.
But if you aspire to a
7-figure income, to a large and growing business, then the
auto-pilot business is fiction. It doesn't exist. I don't
know ONE successful info-marketer who actually runs a 7-figure
information empire that has their business on auto-pilot.
You can't get BIG being small.
You have to treat this like a
REAL business with infrastructure, staff, project teams and a wide
range of service providers to manage. The skill-sets required to
manage 6-figure and 7-figure businesses are very different.
To get to 7-figures, you must
become a true entrepreneur.
You must master delegation,
team building, project management, etc.
My 1999 Choice to go from 7-figures to 6-figures.
See, I could have written the excerpt from page 41
of Dan's eBook above way back in 1999. I knew all of the above in
the blue text (and more) because I was living it on a daily basis.
And I wanted out. Badly. Because I had unwittingly
created a monster that I didn't want any more by any stretch of the
imagination. I went into home-based business to get away from
the aggravations and stresses associated with the corporate rat
race.
I
didn't intend to build something from home that (at least partially)
replicated those same evils!
I loved my staff personally but I hated having the
responsibility of hundreds of thousands of dollars in
annual business overhead hanging over my head (in addition
to my personal overhead, which was more than enough, thank you very
much)! Here I was, just a "humble salesperson," as I oftentimes
describe myself, simply wanting to get away from the corporate rat
race, and suddenly I found myself being the CEO of this rapidly
expanding global corporation (a software company at the time) that I
never set out to create in the first place (in my quest for both
financial and time freedom). It just kind of happened along the
home-based business way there in the mid-to-late 1990s.
After 4 years, I had had more than enough. And I shut it all down
one day back in 1999. And I throttled my automated online marketing
business back from 7 figures with a growing staff as Dan describes
above; to a 6 figure automated online business ran rather
well by just one person (me)! And that's the way I happily operated
for more than 8 long years from 1999 to 2007.
So What's The Problem?! You Ask.
Here's the
problem. It's getting harder and harder and more and more
complicated and more and more competitive to run and operate even a
lousy 6-figure income 1-person automated online business anymore!
And why is that? Well, part of it is because of the increasing
competition previously mentioned. There is a much higher percentage
growth in the sheer numbers of new people coming in to slice up the
automated online marketing "pie" than the automated online marketing
"pie" is growing sales wise anymore. I believe we hit that tipping
point some time in 2007 (which is why I started building Con$tant
Ca$h Collection at that time; even
though Con$tantCa$hCollection
didn't pre-launch until January of 2009).
But there's an even bigger problem going on
here...
NERDS!
Aren't
NERDS a drag?! I've always thought they are. Even though
I've employed and contracted with more than my fair share thru the
years.... When I was a freshman at Northwestern University, many
moons ago, in my Freshman Seminar I was required to read some fancy
books on what was then termed "the coming Post-Industrial Society."
And then our final paper was supposed to be written on WHO we
thought would control the Future. The
NERDS
(technical types). Or the Entrepreneurs (leadership types). I argued
(rather persuasively seeing that I got an A on the paper and in the
class) that the
Entrepreneurs, which every one agreed currently controlled
the world back then, would
continue to control the world indefinitely into the
post-Industrial Society Future. And that the NERDS would
ultimately just become the "high-tech" production line workers of
tomorrow.
And whether you realize it or not (yet), that is
EXACTLY what has happened here by 2008 (and beyond)!
You don't see American Entrepreneurs getting
outsourced to India like American Silicon Valley software
programmers and engineers are outsourced en masse these days, do
you?

(more on this below). I think they're all secretly descended from
cannibals or
something. This is no joke, for below is a pic of a guy that was
dubbed the
"Cannibal NERD" in Japan a number of years ago. This
twisted serial killer, who drank the blood of the many little girls
that he murdered, was executed and is now rumored to be right now
haunting and infiltrating the "support" teams of numerous large
Internet entities worldwide.
Even
to the point of already being reported to have deeply demon
possessed an exceptionally large number of these large Internet
entities "support" staff (with an especially strong fondness for
"drinking the blood" of anyone who dares to follow their dream of
owning and, "worse" yet, aggressively mass promoting an American
home-based business).
But most of all,
NERDS
just love to
kill
everything! And there is no better example of their
bloody and bloodthirsty ways than what they have done to 1-person
6-figure online automated marketing outfits over the past decade or
so. Whereas it was once relatively easy (with relatively few
opposing hurdles and enemies) to do 1-person 6-figure online
automated "lazy man" marketing years ago, today it's like wading
thru an Iraqi minefield wearing shaved off big metal football
cleats!
Every place you turn these days, it seems there is
yet another
NERD
lurking around the corner just waiting
gleefully
to filter/block/blacklist your emails, your auto-responders, your
automated social network Friend Requesters, your automated
Craigslist ad submitters, you name it, there are demon possessedCANNIBAL
NERDSeverywhere that literally hate anything
that even smells of mass automation, mass production and/or
mass promotion in any way, shape or form!
And that's because
NERDS
are NERDS!
Meaning that
NERDS
are not Entrepreneurs. An Entrepreneur's natural instinct, as
soon as it is perfected or streamlined, is to take a new marketing
process or a new and effective business plan and mass automate/mass
produce/mass promote it! A
NERD
sees an Entrepreneur doing that and their first "instinct" is to
KILL IT! DEAD! And the quicker the better...

In fact, it's a wonder that the
NERDS
are not already messing up Detroit with all of those "evil"
mass production lines there in the auto industry. Oh, yeah, I
forgot, they already are. And have been for years. No wonder they're

guess we're just being "regulated" here in the home-based industry.

See, almost by definition, and, by their very

If,

NERDS come along and inevitably make life difficult for

Entrepreneurs still make and/or find a way. And, in the
process, seeing that they write the

paychecks, also end up inevitably FIRING SOME OF THE
NERDS
because of the
NERD's
nerdy anti-business ways. And then outsource "their" jobs to

Thus,
in the midst of all of their killing sprees, ironically,
NERDS
CANNIBALISTICALLY KILL other NERDS most of all!

But it doesn't just stop with Entrepreneurs firing
NERDS
due to constricted bottom lines as a result of the various
nefarious, evil and anti-mass automation/anti-mass
production/anti-mass promotion anti-business ways of the putrid and
pathetic
NERDS.
That's only the beginning.
NERDS Killing Automation Fuels Social Networks!
The most effective way that the
NERDS
are slitting their own throats is by creating the anti-mass
automation/anti-mass production/anti-mass promotion business
environment on the Internet.
Because, and stop and think about this for a moment,
WHO do you think needs the mass automation/mass production/mass
promotion MORE? The NERDS?
Or the Entrepreneurs?
As just stated a few short paragraphs above, almost
by definition, and by their very nature, Entrepreneurs are
extremely, extremely resourceful. Now that the
NERDS
have taken away most of the Entrepreneurs' mass automation/mass
production/mass promotion tools and techniques that make 1-person
6-figure "Lazy Man" online automated marketing possible,
Entrepreneurs are increasingly turning back to "old school"
marketing and selling techniques (with an Internet age twist). And,
right now, that means they're turning mainly to Social Networking.
In other words,
NERDS,
with the average personality of a
pet rock,
and not cut out for Social Networking by any stretch of the
imagination, are actually destroying their own best hope for online
success when they hamper mass automation/mass production/mass
impersonal promotion on the Internet. Whereas
Entrepreneurs and Salespeople and Leaders, being so naturally resourceful
and always fully equipped to make money one way or another,
can make it either way (and are actually best suited
for Social Networking, although it certainly takes more time and
more work than impersonal automation)! And are actually being (more
or less) forced by the
NERDS
to return to various forms of one-on-one "belly to belly" personal
marketing/selling. Where they excel!
Yes,
it's very true that Social
Networks (MySpace, Facebook, YouTube, etc) are all the rage these
days. We all know that fact. But what really are social networks
anyways?
Hell, it's HIGH SCHOOL all over again, kiddies!

Outside of their own small and isolated

similar places, the dynamics are human dynamics. And that's
the "natural inbred language" of all true
Entrepreneurs/Salespersons/Leaders. And that's something that
cannot be outsourced...ever...for it's priceless!

This "language" is something that
NERDS
never have been able to nor ever will be able to speak with the same
level of natural fluency enjoyed by
Entrepreneurs/Salespeople/Leaders.
Why? Because NERDS don't have the personal communication skills

social
environments. That type of social environment goes way back to your
old high school days. The technical
NERDS are
invariably
left out in the cold and the guys and gals that dominate are the
same ones
that dominated in the old high school "social networks"
back in the day. And that's the
people who are socially dominant! It might be the high school
quarterback, it might be the high school cheerleader, it might be
the
guy who can't throw a spiral to save his life but is charming and
has
a great way with the ladies, WHATEVER! For it is those kinds of
socially successful people who can brand and sell themselves, lead,
motivate and inspire others who will dominate in the
marketing of both today and tomorrow. Which is simply a "back to the
future" return to not only Social Networking but to all forms
of one-on-one "belly to belly" non-automated non-autopilot non-lazy man's way to
riches old-fashioned "kick ass" marketing and selling!

But it's not just Social Networks that the
various and nefarious evil anti-automation and anti-business
practices of the
NERDS
are fueling. They're planting the seeds of a now barely
beginning but soon coming enormous backlash in the
home-based business industry and its return to "belly
to belly"
one-on-one
personal marketing of every imaginable kind. Social
Networking is merely just one of many kinds of "belly
to belly" personal marketing. And it really isn't
even close to being the most effective nor personal tactic

home-based business arena, the vast majority of people are

is, they think that it's still the 1990s or the mid-2000s and that

Staff. And since the home-based business masses STILL "poo
poo" getting "belly to belly" one-on-one personal with people
because of the (fading and obstructed and now too widely practiced by now too many people)
automation that has become so popular (when actually it was far more effective in
the 1990s thru the mid-2000s), you KNOW that that is where the
Big Money is...Going

It's simply the flip side of the way it was
back in 1992 to 2001 or so. Back then, almost everybody
thought people like me that claimed we were building businesses with
automation all over the world selling and recruiting 100% online
were stark raving mad and clearly deluded. But we knew better.
Because we were doing it. And making Big Money. Likewise, today,
those who were "late to the automation party" that think that those
of us that were "early to the automation party" are wrong in going
back to "belly to belly" one-on-one personal marketing are
actually quite wrong themselves. And we who were "early to the
automation party" know they're wrong.
Again! Because, once
again, we are doing it. Leading the way again. And making Big Money
again. As we always do. Always bucking "conventional wisdom" and
then laughing all the way to the bank!
In other words, when almost NOBODY is doing something valuable, that's
why there
is
so much money in it. But, when EVERYBODY'S DOING IT or at least
trying to do it (like the lazy man's automated riches attempt at
online automation today), that's why
there
is SO LITTLE MONEY LEFT IN IT!
Too many people eating too little "left over" pie! Too
many converts with too many damn Robots!
But
Social Networking and "Belly to Belly" is Definitely NOT For Da Lazy!
There's very little that can properly be called "lazy" and/or "automatic" about social networking
marketing and selling. Or in any form of one-on-one "belly to belly"
marketing and selling, for that matter. Social networking marketing
and selling in particular, and "belly to belly" marketing and
selling in general, may be lots of FUN, but it
also takes a LOT of TIME and a LOT OF WORK. And it also takes a
great deal of branding and marketing and selling and leadership and
motivational and inspirational and inter-personal relationship skills. You're going to have to
invest time and money to develop these many and varied skills if you
don't already have them and/or possess them naturally.
IF you want
to get really good at and make Big Money using Social Networking
and/or "Belly to Belly" in general.
